The Autumn sun was shining upon us for our annual Growing and Preserving Wealth seminar.

The event was hosted by our Managing Director and Chartered Financial Planner, Adrian Atkinson who introduced David Thurlow and Dave Worrall, also both Chartered Financial Planners, who spoke at the event.

We welcomed guest speaker, Andy Burgess from Insight, a leading fund manager that is part of BNY, one of the largest asset managers in the world.  Andy was able to impart his knowledge as a fixed income investment specialist and highlight the current investment insight from BNY which was well received.

The main topics addressed by us during the seminar were considerations for all ahead of the Budget taking place on 26 November.  At this point there are some ‘knowns’ and some ‘unknowns’ and therefore the presentation was a good reminder of different areas that may be affected.

Many of our clients attended the seminar, all enjoying a fabulous afternoon tea, provided in the elegant backdrop of the Jockey Club Rooms, the home of British racing in Newmarket.

We look forward to hosting this event next year in equally beautiful surroundings.

Thank you to all who came along and to those involved in the day – it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We are always here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.  If you would like to talk to one of our Chartered Financial Planners, please contact us on 01223 233331 or email info@mmwealth.co.uk.
