Yesterday, we held our annual client seminar. This year, we co-hosted the event with CKLG Accountants & Chartered Tax Advisers at the lovely Millennium Suite at Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket.

The main topic, “Inheritance Tax: Planning for the Future”, generated a great deal of interest among attendees.
Adrian Atkinson opened the event by welcoming both MM Wealth and CKLG clients. Aniketa Khushu from CKLG provided an inheritance tax update, followed by an economic update from our guest speaker, Felicity Main from Vanguard. Our very own Dave Worrall, then spoke about financial planning for the future. The afternoon concluded with a Q&A session fielded by Katie Holmes from CKLG, afternoon tea and a short tour and talk about the racecourse from Alan Medlock, who has extensive knowledge of the history of racing in Newmarket.

This was the first time we had held the seminar at the racecourse, as we needed a larger venue to accommodate the number of attendees. We have received positive feedback from clients, who found the topic of Inheritance Tax engaging and asked a wide range of questions as a result. It is always great to see so many clients interested in a topic and to have the opportunity to share knowledge with them.
